JAG Identity & Website Design

JAG Timber and JAG Trees are sister companies based in Oxfordshire in the UK. Initially, it was only JAG Timber with wood fuel sales, woodland management and arboricultural operations for both, the domestic and commercial sectors. In mid 2014, JAG Trees was created to take over all arboricultural services.

The logo mark, besides the company name, evokes a timber. It’s simple and economical concept that is very easy to apply, and perhaps carve too! The circle shape is also used in the identity graphical language, shown further down the page.

Icons developed for the packaging labels and website are an extension of the main signature.

These graphics are JAG Timber visual language and illustrate how the logo mark works in the context of its identity. They also make the concept behind the logo more apparent.

In 2014, JAG Timber decided to create a new company which will handle all the arboricultural work such as felling, crown shaping, pruning, pollarding, coppicing and other services I, and most likely you too, have never heard of before. We decided to create a new identity which would reflect the new company services but be in sync with the existing JAG Timber identity.
