BlueTree Network Identity and website redesign

The concept originates from the previous design which has been in use for a short period of time. It represents BlueTree Network as a meeting point for health IT consultants and healthcare organisations.

The new signature combines the organic and softer strokes of the new logo mark, with a typeface of similar visual characteristics.

The graphical language is based around multiple plus icons docking onto the BlueTree Network logo mark representing the two sides of the healthcare system. The plus icon also acts as the visual link between the two industries in which BlueTree Network operates, healthcare and software.

The way the new logo mark is designed is that the branches are in the 2:3 relation – each child branch size and thickness is 2/3’s of its parent size. Similarly, the plus icon sizes are in same 2:3 relation, and are positioned within a grid.

The extended icon system has been designed to work with some of the character designs which BlueTree Network have supplied.

After the identity design was completed, I worked with BlueTree Network on their health IT platform user interface and visual design. The interactive platform is designed to help health IT professionals to demonstrate and expand their expertise, find the best placements, and provide access to collaborate with over 500 of healthcare IT’s brightest minds.
